Method of use Tear the bag open slightly or pierce the bag producing an opening so that it can be hung in a convenient place(such as a tree),but better yet inside a decoy Beehive. Several decoy beehives can be arranged in the apiary at a maximum distance of 50 meters from the hives. Once the bag is opened,the wipe with the attractants is effective for about 10 days,depending on environmental conditions(if hot the substance is dissipated more quickly). The optimal height of placing the bag is 1.8 to 2 meters above the ground. When used in a decoy Beehive,it is ideal to attach it to an old and empty nest canvas. The ideal orientation of the decoy beehive is with the flight opening facing south.
