Description Black Elk organic green tea is grown in the highest areas of the Nilgiri Plateau in southern India, where the skilled hands of Unitea workers carefully cultivate and harvest the buds and first leaves of the tea plant, Camellia Sinensis. Mostly women work on these plantations, benefiting from the increased community services provided by selling to the Fairtrade. Green tea contains alkaloids, natural substances of plant origin, including caffeine-like theine, whose action develops more moderately and gradually.
