Swedish Herbal Ointment for Sensitive Skin with Aloe, Myrrh, Saffron, Angelica Root, Rhubarb Root, Carlina Root, Cassia Leaves, Turmeric Root, Natural Camphor, Venetian Theriac, and Manna
How to Use:
Spread a small amount of ointment on the affected area until completely absorbed; in some cases, it may be helpful to cover the area with gauze.
10 g of Aloe (Aloe vera, Aloe barbadensis): Beneficial for external use, as a remedy for sunburn, acne, and psoriasis, and in skin care therapy.
5 g of Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha): All myrrh resins exhibit astringent properties on mucous membranes and have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties.
0.2 g of Saffron (Crocus sativus): Long known in folk medicine as a eupeptic, sedative, and antispasmodic.
10 g of Angelica root (Angelica archangelica): Has spasmolytic, prokinetic, expectorant, aromatic, and carminative properties.
10 g of Rhubarb root (Rheum rhabarbarum): Externally, the plant is used in traditional medicine to treat skin conditions and sunburn.
5 g of Carlina root (Carlina vulgaris): healing properties.
10 g of Cassia leaves (Cassia angustifolia): this shrub contains important substances known as anthraquinones.
10 g of Turmeric root (Curcuma zedoaria): anti-inflammatory properties.
10 g of natural Camphor (Chinese Camphor): for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
10 g of Venetian Theriac (a blend of various herbs and spices): theriac was a concoction of 54 ingredients, including viper meat.
10 g of Manna: smoothes and softens the skin, smoothes wrinkles, promotes wound healing, and reduces swelling.
