The trap is placed inside the hive, placed high up among the honeycombs near the brood. The small beetle is attracted by the liquid contained in the trap from which it will no longer be able to escape (add approximately 25-30 ml of white mineral oil or vegetable oil with apple cider vinegar to half of the trap). The trap is infinitely reusable, because the lid can be opened to empty it of dead beetles and wash it for reuse
