Infusion preparation: Steep 1 tablespoon of dried herb in a cup of boiling water. Strain and drink 2-3 cups daily. Sweeten with honey.

Contraindications: No side effects have been reported at therapeutic doses. Only with high doses and over long periods does a possible interaction with thyroid medications (methimazole and thyroxine) appear. Avoid use if you suffer from hypothyroidism. Avoid use if you have a personal sensitivity to the plant. As a precaution, it is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
