-APIFONDA is a candied paste made primarily of granulated sugar (sucrose), extracted from beetroot. It contains very fine crystals less than one hundredth of a millimeter in diameter. Each crystal is covered with a thin layer of dissolved sugar syrup that prevents the formation of lumps and crusts. This allows APIFONDA to be easily ingested and assimilated by bees.
