Insert the wick in the center from the bottom and pop it out from the top. Secure the mold with rubber bands to keep it tightly closed. Tie a wick to the toothpick and rest the latter on the top edge. 2) Fill the mold with wax: Melt the wax in a preferably enameled pot, pour it into the mold when it has reached a temperature of 50°C. Pour it slowly into the mold. The time for the wax to solidify depends on the size of the mold and the amount of wax used. 3) Take the candle out of the mold:When the wax is cold, remove the rubber bands, open the mold and take out the candle. Our professional pollen catcher trap has the advantage that it can be applied to virtually all existing Beehives, even those that have an entrance from above, and very easily. By attaching two different sheet metal canopies that protect it from the rain on the top, two different planes of support on the wall are created, and it can be applied to STANDARD Beehives with the porch (item LA 2405) and to KUBIK Beehives (code LA 2407). The trap rests on the step and is quickly attached to the front wall of the Beehive with two eye screws in prepared slots. The two clear plastic tubes inserted on either side of the trap are exactly level with the base net and facilitate cleaning by the bees. The "pollen peeler" grid is made of plastic, has only three horizontal rows of round holes and special longitudinal brackets at the base of the holes on which the bees rest before passing through the holes and losing the pollen pellets. The base net, on which the pollen falls before ending up in the tray measures 90x360 mm and is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. On the top of the vertical wall supporting the grid are 6 transparent plastic cones with the tips pointing outward, which function as a one-way exit for drones and bees, but are not recognized by the bees as an entrance. The principle of its operation is the vaporization of acaricide product inside a stainless steel coil made red-hot by a gas burner. By pressing and releasing the feed pump button, the product mixed with kerosene oil is taken from the tank and forced into the red-hot coil where it evaporates immediately and exits under pressure through the nozzle. Each vaporized dispensing takes no more than 2 seconds of time. By introducing the ferret nozzle inside the Beehive's small door and pressing the button, the dose needed for a treatment is administered. Heating of the coil is achieved by a burner fed by a camping-gas cartridge. The substances that can be sprayed are the same as those traditionally used in acaricide and bactericide treatments (e.g., thymol). These substances should always be diluted with kerosene oil or demineralized petroleum.(Not suitable for use with oxalic acid!) It is recommended that the coil be emptied and the unit thoroughly cleaned after EACH use, BEFORE turning it off in order to avoid clogging the coil and sprayer. To do this, remove the yellow canister and press the dispenser button repeatedly until the pump is empty and no spray is still coming out, at which point it is advisable to do a few pumps with only diluent without medicine; then close the gas nozzle.During this operation, move the Ferret to different positions in order to get all the fluid left in the coil out. It is also recommended to disassemble and clean the sprayer frequently. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE By pressing and releasing the button, the product is sent to the coil, where it vaporizes instantaneously by escaping from the sprayer as a vaporous cloud and entering the Beehive. Each vaporized dispensing takes no more than 2 seconds to complete. Steam moisture is determined by the frequency of pumping; pumping at 5-second intervals is recommended. After about 1 minute, you can proceed with the treatment. 2) Pour in 2.5 g. of oxalic acid with the dispenser provided for 10-frame Beehives, halving the dose for 6-frame Nucleus hives. 3) On average after 1 1/2 minutes you can switch to another Beehive; it is recommended not to turn off the device in treatment series. 4) Turn off BioletalVarroa® only at the end of the uninterrupted series of treatments to avoid overheating of the bowl and unnecessary energy consumption. 5) For practicality, less disturbance to the bees and better defense for the Beekeeper, we recommend to drill, on the back of the Beehive, a hole (45x12mm) skimming the bottom net, and perform the treatment from this , taking care to close with a cloth the entrance/exit bees from the step for about 5 minutes. This opening, after treatment, can be closed with a simple sheet of metal. 6) To perform the treatment from the entrance/exit bees from the step, it is recommended to operate with a wooden lath, or with a rag.
